1990-1992: Researcher in the team for the project “Study and Conservation on genetic and species diversity of wild aromatic and medicinal plants in the Mediterranean Northwest area.” Research shared by the following institutions: CEAMSE, Conservatoire Botanique de Porquerolles (France), Botanical sciences Deparment, University of Pisa (Italy), Cordoba Botanic Garden (Spain). Directors: J. Touche, L. Olivier, E. Hernández Bermejo and F. Garbari.

1987-1989: Researcher in the team for the project “Taxonomic characterisation, predicting infestations and new strategies for controlling jopo (Orobanche spp.);” funded by the Interministerial Commission of Science and Technology, developed at the School of Agricultural Engineering, Cordoba University. Director: E. Hernández Bermejo.

1985-1986: Researcher in the team for the project “Studies on botany, agronomy and ecology of weeds in Western Andalusia with special reference to the Cordoba countryside and Guadalquivir Valley;” funded by the Advisory Commission for Scientific and Technical Research of Spain, developed at the School of Agricultural Engineering (ETSIA), Cordoba University. Director: E. Hernández Bermejo.

1984-1986: Researcher in the team for the project “Prospection and identification of plant species with high hardiness and production of transformable biomass. Domestication and exploitation techniques for wildlife in marginal areas for industrial use or food; Implementation in the Mediterranean area,” funded by the Advisory Commission for Scientific and Technical Research of Spain, developed at ETSIA, Cordoba University. Director: E. Hernández Bermejo.

1982-1984: Researcher in the team for the project “Botanical and Agricultural study of weeds in the Guadalquivir Valley (Cordoba and Seville provinces),” developed at ETSIA, Cordoba University, funded by the Advisory Commission for Scientific and Technical Research of Spain. Director: E. Hernández Bermejo.

1980-1982: Researcher in the team for the project “Weeds in the Cordoba countryside (Taxonomy, Chorology and Dynamics),” developed at ETSIA, Cordoba University, funded by the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture, Director: E. Hernández Bermejo.

1976-77 and 1977-78: Researcher in the team for the project “Protection of Endemic Plants,” developed at the Department of Plant Biology and Physiology of the School of Agricultural Engineering, Madrid Polytechnic University, funded by the Spanish Advisory Committee for Scientific and Technical Research. Director: C. Gómez Campo.

1976-77 and 1977-78: Researcher in the team for the project “Protection of Spanish Plants: Chorology and Taxonomy,” developed at the Department of Plant Biology and Physiology of the School of Agricultural Engineering, Madrid Polytechnic University, funded by the Juan March Foundation. Director: C. Gómez Campo.

1976: Researcher in the team for the project “Collecting Moroccan aromatic plants of interest for the perfume industry,” sponsored by the Moroccan Ministry of Agriculture and developed at Department of Plant Biology and Physiology of ETSIA Madrid, Madrid Polytechnic University.
